There is only one school left in Zanesville, where the students have yet to start classes.
Mid- East Career and Technology Center has pushed back their start date to accommodate construction at the campus.
"We are in our third year of renovation here at Mid East, and because of the renovation process we are not starting our students back until the day after Labor Day to extend the summer long as possible and to get as much renovation work done during the summer, " Said Mid- East Director, Mike Hawley.
Hawley says that the renovation process will last until fall of next year, but students will see changes as soon as they walk through the doors.
"They are going to very pleased to see that most of their academic classes will be in totally renovated facilities. We will be using our adult education or building five as swing space for our academic classes, and several of our labs have been renovated as well. " said Hawley
Between both the Buffalo and Zanesville campuses the 4 year project is estimated to cost 40 million dollars. There will be a ribbon cutting this Friday to celebrate the new renovations made at Mid- East.
