The Zanesville District Golf Association will have four new inductees to its Hall of Fame next week.
This is the 13th year of honoring golfers who have superior playing ability or have made significant contributions to the game of golf.
"Significant contributions would be, an example of that would be someone that does a lot of work that has contributed to the game of golf and we have some members that have been active in the ZDG organization for years," said ZDG Treasurer, Fred Steinbrecher.
The four inductees are Ron Bucci, Bob Lewis, Russ Roberts and the headliner is Mike McCullough, who played in the PGA tour, winning over 7 million dollars during his career. The ZDGA will also honor Vista Golf Course this year.
“They were established in 1973 and over the years, the course has just continually gotten better and the current owners now have done a fantastic job getting that back and they have just contributed so much to the game of golf."
The players and the course will be honored at a banquet next Monday, the 21st, at the Veterans of Foreign War on Putnam Avenue at 6 p.m. Tickets are 20 dollars and to make a reservation call the numbers below.
