Seven teenagers walked away with minor injuries after two cars flipped over on Dresden Road near Powelson in separate incidents Tuesday afternoon.
Highway Patrol Sergeant Melanie Appleman says a gray Acura with five young adults, was southbound on Dresden road around 2:40, when driver, 19-year-old Bradley King, lost control and overturned on the left side of the road. Trooper Appleman says then the second vehicle, with two occupants, driven by 16 year old Bryan Namowicz, was distracted by the first wreck and also lost control and overturned. Following the accident, the first vehicle caught on fire.
Both Falls Township and The Village of Dresden Fire Departments assisted at the scene. No one required medical attention. The patrol says both of the drivers were cited with failure to control. All of the teenagers were wearing seat belts.
