Motorists are finding gas prices a little higher as they get ready to travel for Thanksgiving this week. The state average was $3.25 for a gallon or regular gas in Monday’s survey from Auto Club AAA, The Oil Price Information Service and Wex Incorporated. That’s up seven cents from last week and it’s 17 cents higher than two weeks ago, when prices started to rise following a brief flirtation with $3.00-a-gallon levels. In Zanesville is selling for as low at $3.17 a gallon. The Ohio price was a few cents less than the national average of $3.28, which was up seven cents from a week ago. The state average is a penny higher than a month ago – but 28 cents lower than this time last year.
