Every year Black Friday starts earlier and earlier and one large corporation opened its doors early Thursday morning to help customers get the hot deals.
Bright and early at 6 am, K-Marts around the nation, opened their doors for the earliest and longest Black Friday shopping hours.
"Actually, they weren't different, we've done these sales, we've been open for thanksgiving for years, the one difference is we are going to stay open until 11 o'clock tomorrow night, full force the whole entire time," said K-Mart Manager, Tracy Kohler.
Kohler says it has been busy today, especially during doorbuster sale times. She also says it seems the consumer appreciates having more flexible hours for the busiest shopping day of the year.
"They can do it whenever, I have seen a lot of families, they eat their dinner and then they go shopping and I think that is why the evening thing is kind of big, because then they just shop all night and then kick back all day tomorrow."
