Christmas is just hours away and many locals were out and about getting their holiday grocery list checked off.
Susan Berga and her granddaughter Kelsie Lee, visited the downtown Riesbeck's Grocery Store to buy items for their annual Christmas Dinner.
Berga says that they are looking for ham, cookies and a relish tray. She says this was the only time she had left to go shopping after travels kept her busy.
"We had just come from our daughter's wedding in Charlotte North Carolina ao our priorities have been with her wedding and now it's time to do the last minute shopping for Christmas."
Riesbeck's Assistant Store Director, Rodney Price says that Berga wasn't the only person getting their last minute items picked up on Christmas Eve. He says that the snow this morning didn't stop shoppers from coming in.
"A lot of people are hear to pick up their pre ordered dinner rolls and trays and they just stopped in and getting treats, some people are still looking for the 5 pounds baskets of candy for a stocking gifts, " said Price.
Riesbeck's would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
