Thespians from all over the area performed their last showing of "A Little Night Music" Sunday afternoon.
It was a big turn out at the Renner for the last day of A Little Night Music, a story about love, marriage and finding the right person. Director Bruce Revennaugh says the play took a tremendous amount of preparation.
"We were very fortunate to have a really excellent cast," said Revennaugh. "Very fine voices, good actors and it was a very great joy to do the show, for the third time."
While A Little Night Music is coming to an end, casting is already complete for the next play coming up in March. Shelley Tolliver will be co-directing the Disney junior version of Peter Pan, and says she's hoping to add a few special effects like green screen flying to the production.
"We're hoping to actually start filming that part of it within the next couple weeks so we can digitally edit and then project it on a screen and that'll be a first for the Renner," said Tolliver. "We've tried digital things a couple different times before but this will be our biggest venture into that realm."
Peter Pan will hit the Renner March 7-9 and March 14-16. Tickets will go on sale in mid-February.
