A White Cottage man charged for his role in the get-away from a fatal Burger King shooting was sentenced Tuesday in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court. 34-year-old Jamie Jarrett was originally charged with two counts of obstructing justice for driving Timothy Daniel who was convicted in the fatal shooting of 61-year-old Charles Hooper inside the restaurant last October. Judge Mark Fleegle placed Jarrett on Community Control for 2 years, ordered to successfully complete the Men’s Intervention Group as directed by the Court’s Probation Department, perform 100 hours of community service and successfully complete the Genesis Drug and Rehabilitation Program. He faces 16 month in prison if he fails to complete the court orders. A second charge of obstructing justice was dropped at sentencing.
