The Lancaster Post of the Highway Patrol is investigating a two vehicle accident in Perry County that resulted in one person being ejected from their vehicle.

It happened Wednesday evening around 8:00 at the intersection of State Route 188 and Highpoint Road. Troopers says 61-year-old Mary Mathias of Lancaster was driving south on 188 when another vehicle driven by 29-year-old Dallas Schilling of Baltimore was traveling west on Highpoint Road, failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign and struck Mathias’ vehicle. Schilling was ejected from the car, and was flown by Air Evac to O-S-U Medical Center.

Mathias and a passenger were also transported to the hospital.

The Highway Patrol says alcohol is suspected in the crash.
