The Art Studio of the Month featured by the Artist Colony of Zanesville is Tower Studios and Galleries.
Visual artist and fiction writer Linda Regula has chosen to feature published author L.E. Mae in her studio.
Mae is spreading the message of hope through her personal experiences and triumph recorded in her book 'Stifle'.
"It's all my gory details in a book, so that people may read them and know, that you can get through these struggles, as horrendous as they may be, as ugly as it is, that you are not your struggle," said Mae.
Mae will be at Friday's Art Walk to talk with art enthusiasts as well as sign her book, which has received five stars from Amazon.com as well as Barns and Noble Books.
"I feel like I've done my little part to not just heal myself, but to heal them as well. I'm an advocate and a mentor to teenage girls," said Mae. "I just want them to know that there is hope. To stay strong. We may lose our way but God always comes back to us, no matter what".
Tower Studios and Galleries is located at the Masonic Temple on the 5th floor. Be sure to come out this Friday from 5 to 8pm for refreshments, music, great conversation and one of a kind local art.
