The Muskingum County Center for Seniors and country musician, David Church, have teamed up to help raise money so the center can purchase a new bus. Executive director Terry Dunn says the center will host Church and other musicians for a big show coming up on April 26.
"This is a great marriage if you want to call it between the center and David Church and his wife, Terri Lisa. They have been doing shows here for approximately 7 years and it's been a great fundraiser for the center," said Dunn. "Our intention is to buy a bus when we end up getting enough money to make that purchase."
Church calls the fundraiser a "win-win" because it will help the center get closer to its goal of purchasing a new bus, all while providing a great show and line up for fans.
"We have Terry Lee Goffee that does a premiere Johnny Cash tribute and then my wife, Terri Lisa also does female cover songs and does some of her own stuff," said Church. "We have Steve Zemba from the area come in and do some songs. So it's just a good variety show that people are gonna be able to hear."
Tickets for the show are $15 for general admission, $18 at the door, and $20 for reserved. Tickets can be purchased at the Center for Seniors.
