Johnson Named to Head PUCO

Governor John Kasich Wednesday announced that a former Muskingum County resident is now the Chairman of the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio.  Tom Johnson, a native of New Concord, will replace current P-U-C-O Chairman Todd Snitcher.  Johnson is well know to this part of the state having served 22 years in the Ohio House of Representatives covering parts of Muskingum, Guernsey, Morgan and two other counties. Johnson also service as budget director for former Governor Bob Taft. Johnson now live in Upper Arlington and his term will expire in April of 2019.  Johnson's appointment is subject to the consent of the Ohio Senate.
