The Anchor Church held their 4th Annual Easter Celebration on Sunday at the Secrest Auditorium.
More than 1,500 people filled the venue to fellowship with other believers. They sang songs, listened to music and most importantly heard a meaningful message from from lead Pastor, Aaron Bounds.
"So today I talked on some signs of the times about the blood moons, Russia it's role in scripture and the end times. I really believe that Jesus is coming and people have to wake up and do what they know is right," said Bounds.
Pastor bounds says that his sermon was an especially emotional one today, and that one portion spiritually stirred him the most.
"Probably the part where there was testimonies, seeing the lives of people that were so devastated and when they found God and God got a hold of their lives and completely turned what was devastation into blessing," said Bounds.
During the event, the Anchor church gave away Zanesville's largest Easter basket to one lucky family and children had a chance to learn more about Easter in a fun environment while parents enjoyed the presentation.
