Members of the Wildwood Church of Christ visited Christ's Table earlier on Sunday to lend a helping hand.
The church is a regular supporter of the food pantry and visits every few weeks. This time their scheduled visit landed on Easter and they say they wouldn't have it any other way.
" We find it very rewarding to learn the stories behind everybody and to meet new people and we want to spread God's love and show these folks that there are people out there who do care. They care about us and we care about them so it really is rewarding on both sides I believe, " said Volunteer, Lisa Talley.
Along with serving a traditional Easter meal, the church brought adult and children Easter baskets for guests to take home with them along with gently used clothing. Volunteer, Misty Williams says giving and spending time with visitors makes her feel at home.
"They absolutely love us coming here. We know a lot of them personally, we've talked to them, we've sat with them and they absolutely love it, "said Williams.
Volunteers said they were excited to have the chance to spend time with both their Christ's table family and their families at home on Easter Sunday.
