The Muskingum County Sheriff's Office is releasing details about a drug bust they executed on Thursday.
Sheriff Matt Lutz says at around 11:30 a.m. members of the Sheriff's Office and Zanesville Police Department's Joint Task Force raided 880 Wayne Ave. in connection to narcotics.
" During the search we found some US currency, a large amount of methamphetamine and also prescription pills, " said Sheriff Lutz.
Lutz says resident of the home, 44- year- old Willie McWhorter is being charged with a 3rd degree felony for possession of meth and two fifth degree felony charges for possession of the pain medications.
" He made his appearance in court and we'll go about the trial and the hearing and the prosecutors office will be reviewing the case, " said Lutz.
Authorities say the case in ongoing and could lead to other arrest. The estimated street value for the seized drugs is approximately $10,000.
