Taking a look at the race for Licking County Commissioner, Republican Rick Black defeated Michael Fox and Doug Kanuckel and will face Democrat Mark VanBuren and Libertarian James Snedden Jr. in November.

The Granville School Renewal Issue 1.7 Mills for five years for Permanent improvements won by five-hundred and forty-nine votes.

The Licking County Board of Developmental Disabilities Issue Lost in a close race by 8 votes.

The Licking Soil and Water Conservation District Issue for five years for construction and maintenance of improvements lost by 22-percent.

The Hanover Village additional 3 Mills for 3 years to provide a fund for streets and walkways won by 37 votes.

The Hanover Village additional 1.5 Mills for 3 years for fire protection and emergency medical services won by 56 votes.

The Kirkersville Village replacement 3 Mills for 5 years current expenses won by a close 8 votes.

The Fallsbury Township renewal 2 Mills for a continuing period of time for fire protection and emergency medical services won by a land slide 80-percent to 20-percent.
