The Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office says two men charged in connection with a murder on Spangler Drive appeared in court Wednesday for their arraignments.

26-year-old Anthony Wilson of Columbus entered not guilty pleas to aggravated murder with a firearm specification and having a weapon while under disability charges.

The Prosecutor’s Office says a co-defendant, 34-year-old Chad Morrison also pleaded not guilty to multiple charges including complicity to aggravated murder with a firearm specification, having a weapon while under disability and two counts of obstructing justice.

The charges are in connection with the murder of 35-year-old Isaac Thomas on January 22nd at 468 Spangler Drive.

Prosecutor Mike Haddox says Morrison is alleged to have helped Wilson in murdering Thomas and provided transportation.

Both men have prior convictions.

Common Pleas Judge Mark Fleegle continued Wilson and Morrison bonds at $ 2 million each.
