Federal Prosecutors in Ohio says alleged gang members in Columbus carried out murders, drug trafficking, robbery and other crimes to control their reputation and territory U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Ohio Spokesman Fred Alverson says among the victims is Shane Allen McCuen who was shot to death in Zanesville in 2008 allegedly by Deshawn Smith of Zanesville..  Prosecutors say drug dealing, robberies and murders-for-hire were the only source of income for members of the Short North Posses.
