The Crooksville Roseville Pottery Festival wrapped up today.
The last day featured a pie judging contest as well as a fishing tournament and the grand parade. The event also featured food vendors including a bloomin' onion stand and homemade pork rinds as well as a fish fry sponsored by Peerless Lodge. Lodge member, Keith Coffman, said that the money raised will help fund the community celebrations held annually on the 4th of July.
"Everything we do is for a reason, we support the community any way we can but our community celebration is probably the biggest thing that we do," said Coffman.
The Pottery Festival may have come to an end today but volunteer Kasie Rose says she's happy about how it turned out and everyone is already looking forward to next year.
"From where we're at today this is the best festival we've had," said Rose. "This is the most vendors we've had in years and we're hoping to make it bigger and better."
