The State Highway Patrol announces the site of Friday's sobriety checkpoint in Licking County.
The Granville Post said the checkpoint will take place on State Route 13 between 9 p.m. and Midnight Friday.
The checkpoint is funded by federal grants and is planned to deter and intercept impaired drivers. The checkpoint will be held in conjunction with nearby saturation patrols to combat alcohol related injury and fatal crashes.
The Patrol said if you plan to consume alcohol, designate a driver or make other travel arrangements before you drink.
