The 6th Annual Y Bridge Arts Festival is taking place at Zanes Landing Park the first weekend in August.
The event will run from 6PM to 10PM Friday evening. It will also run from 11AM to 10PM Sunday. The festival brings together over 100 artists from around the nation, 16 are coming all the way from China. Those who attend will get to enjoy food, music and of course artwork. Volunteer Coordinator Tami Swope, says there is a lot of variety for viewing and purchase.
"This year we feature art from fine arts, jewelry, the Iron Man comes and recycles eyery year different products. Watercolors, oil paint, clothing....I mean its just a plethora of art."
Every year, the event continues to feature returning talent. Swope says she feels the artists choose to come back due to the Zanesville area itself.
"I think the artists are very passionate about coming to Zanesville. They really like the people here and they actually enjoy mingling and meeting new people and I think thats why they come back every year."
Everyone is invited to come out and enjoy this community event.
