Crews Search Railroad for Body *Update*

Fire crews searched along the railroad tracks in Crooksville Thursday night following a caller's tip someone had been struck by a train.

Chief Dyrall Nuwlan with the Crooksville Fire Department said that around 9 p.m. a subject called in and reported someone was hit by a train in the area of Delaware Drive in Crooksville. Roseville and Crooksville Fire Departments started a search along the tracks from Athens Road all the way to the high school in Crooksville and after two hours of searching had found nothing. Chief Nuwlan said MedFlight was also on the scene in case a body was discovered.

Late Thursday evening an Ohio State Highway Patrol helicopter was still searching the area and crews were waiting on a railroad supervisor to get to the scene.
