UPDATE: Charges Released In Maple Avenue Bank Robbery

Here's a follow up on the armed robbery that took place at a Maple Avenue Huntington Bank ATM this weekend.

Two subjects approached a vehicle at gunpoint Saturday and demanded money from those inside it on Saturday. According to the Chief of the Zanesville Police Department, Kenneth Miller, the charges of the suspects  involved were released Monday.

"Zachary A. Rogers, he's 22 years old from Columbus, he's been charged with two counts of aggravated robbery, two counts of theft, three counts of kidnapping. The other suspect is Joshua M. Conley. He is also charged with two counts of aggravated robbery, two counts of theft, three counts of kidnapping and one count of weapons under disability."

Miller explained that occurrences such as this aren't a common occurrence in the Zanesville area, however, you should always remain aware when approaching an ATM.

"People need to, when the go to the ATM machines, and I realize this was in the daytime, but they need to just be aware of their surroundings. Just kind of glance around and see if there's anyone hanging around, because you know, in this case, the subjects were waiting at the ATM."

Miller says a description of the suspects and the vehicle they were driving was passed on by Zanesville Police Department to the Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Sheriffs Office. The Granville Post of the Highway Patrol was able to stop the car in Licking County near Pataskala.
