ZANESVILLE, Ohio- “Pokemon Go” combines the digital and real world together by using a cellphones GPS and clock to detect where you are in the game and make Pokemon “appear” around you on your phone screen.

As you move around, different types of Pokemon will appear on your screen for you to be able to catch using “Pokeballs”.

The idea is to encourage folks to travel around the real world to catch Pokemon in the game.

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – AAA’s Gas Report is out and gas prices around the state continue to fall.

On average a gallon of gas in the Buckeye State will cost you $2.11, which is 11 cents cheaper than this time last week. We found gas for $1.99 at the Marathon on Underwood Avenue.

NEW CONCORD, OHIO- To celebrate the 95th birthday of Ohio native John Glenn a local organization hosted a space camp.

NEW CONCORD, OHIO- Nearly 200 high school students are participating in iBELIEVE camps throughout Ohio and West Virginia.

The basket-shaped building used by employees of the Longaberger Company for 20 years will be vacant by the end of the week as staff move to another location in Muskingum County. The Newark Advocate says Longaberger owes over 577-thousand dollars for the structure in Newark. Officials say the company has not paid taxes on the building since 2014. ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The Zanesville-Muskingum County Health Department is having a photovoice project to try to enhance the community.

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – A Monday afternoon fire has sent two to Genesis and damaged a home.

The Zanesville Fire Department responded to a call at 1:30 p.m. about smoke and flames from a house at 628 Woodlawn Avenue. Fire Chief Eric Waltemire said three people were in the home at the time of the fire, including an infant.

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Recently, there has been a spike in overdose deaths across the state from people using heroin combined with a prescribed painkiller called Fentanyl.

Four deaths have been reported in Akron and one in Columbus from the drug. Steve Carrel with Muskingum Behavioral Health said that heroin mixed with Fentanyl can be one of the most dangerous drugs there is.
