 Each year The Wilds kicks off its season with a festival full of fun.

The 5th annual 'Wildzfest' was held from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The day included a 'kidszone' full of bounce house fun as well as stilt walkers and a three man band. Dora and Diego even stopped by to greet children of all ages. The Wilds Vice President Rick Dietz said that the day is about getting the community excited about the upcoming season.

Along with fresh produce, the Farmer's Market is now a destination for pasture raised pig, lamb and turkey.

The Bush Valley Farm joined the group of vendors at the Farmer's Market this year. Owner and operator Scott Bush said that he and his wife are enjoying the selling opportunities that the local market has to offer.

 The American Heritage Girls took to the shooting range today.

88 girls came together for a morning of firearm safety at the Dillon Sportsman Center. The 'Bullets and Braids' event included shooting various guns and bows and arrows. The girls also learned techniques in trapping and fishing. Troop Coordinator Rochelle Andrews said it's important to teach youth about firearms now so they can feel confident with gun safety in the future.

 The Noon Rotary Club celebrated their 100 year anniversary promoting 'service over self' this evening.

The celebration at the Zane State, Ohio University Zanesville campus center included a social followed by dinner and a program featuring the John Glenn string band. General Chairman Elden Hudson said that tonight was all about how rotary has been able to help the community for so many years.

Pot holes, the result of a long hard winter, are now being fixed by this year's Paving Program in Zanesville.

The city is spending $1,900,000 on road work. Mayor Jeff Tilton said the plan for choosing which streets to repair has changed.

Riesbeck's held its annual Operation Feed Spring Food Drive Friday.

It's Friday once again, and it's time to introduce you to the pet of the week!

The Muskingum County Library System is offering a new way for members to check out books.

The new source is called Hoopla and it now allows library customers to access reading materials online via the county's digital library. Assistant Library Director Blair Tom told us more about what to expect.

The Ohio Department of Transportation says starting Saturday State Route 93 will reopen to traffic. But O-dot says the westbound ramps to I-70 will remain closed. The road was previously closed for a mine grouting project finishing from last summer. Crews are now in the final stages of the project and will begin night work to resurface the area including State Route 93 and the westbound ramps. The City of Zanesville Fire Department has plans to finish flushing hydrants on Monday. 

Hydrant flushing will take place on the east side of Frazeysburg Road from Northpointe Drive to the city limits including Kenningston Village, Century Lane and all side streets. 

Flushing will take place from 7:30am-2:30pm. Residents in these areas may experience discolored water and reduced pressure.
