The Zanesville Concert Association is getting ready to kick off their 77th Season.

The music begins on October 3 at Secrest Auditorium. A painting of the Golden Gate Bridge will be auctioned off on opening night. It is a print from the original piece by Tony Bennett. All of the money raised from the auction goes to the Zanesville Concert Association. The investigation continues into a weekend robbery.  

It happened at the Muskingum Valley Vineyard Church on Putnam Avenue. The church reported the break in Sunday morning. 

Zanesville Police Captain Tony Coury said it appears the trespassers broke through an outside storage area. After which, they made away with several items.

Keeping food up to standards at county fairs can give vendors a challenge.  

Health inspectors head out to the Muskingum County Fair everyday. During the first couple days, inspectors check every vendor to make sure that they're up to all health codes. After which, they go around and make random stops throughout the week.

Normally, while walking through the poultry barn at the Muskingum County Fair you can hear birds clucking or crowing. That's all different this year. 

Some cages have stuffed chickens and most have posters detailing the projects 4-H kids completed. That's because as the avian flu spreads throughout the Midwest, the state has banned poultry shows for all county fairs.

Harness Racing came to a close Aug. 17 and we caught up with Speed Superintendent of the Fairboard Tom Forker to see how things went.

The races took center stage for two days this week. Harness Drivers traveled from all over Ohio to compete for first place which includes bragging rights and a cash prize. The second act under the lights this week was the 'Rough Trucks.'

Brave drivers tested their trucks on the dirt track Monday night in front of a packed Grandstand, hoping to earn the best time,but it wasn’t just boys out to play.

Governor John Kasich is asking federal officials to declare an economic injury disaster for three counties near Buckeye Lake. Such a declaration would lead to possible federal aid for the area. In a letter dated Monday to the Small Business Administration, Kasich says businesses have suffered financially as the lake has been kept low while plans are made to replace a deteriorated dam. A two car accident temporarily shut down State Route 83 South near New Concord Monday evening.

The Muskingum County Fair is featuring a ride that has kids hopping for joy.

The 'Frog Hopper' has kids lining up over and over again.
