A Columbus man accused of plotting to commit terrorism in the U.S. after traveling to Syria for terrorist training is expected to enter not guilty pleas at an arraignment. A federal indictment says Abdirahman Sheik Mohamud left the country a year ago to train and fight with terrorists in Syria. The OSU Alumni Club of Muskingum County held its 16th annual scholarship auction Thursday evening, and they even had a buckeye legend stop by for the good cause.

The Zanesville Kiwanis Club left the pit stop Thursday night and headed for the race track for its annual Pinewood Derby race.

The Ohio Good Sam Camp Club will be enjoying the outdoors for an upcoming good cause.

West Muskingum High School is holding a special event in the coming days.

For the first time ever on Monday, April 27th at 6PM, former Ohio State Football players will be making an appearance at the local educational facility. The Muskingum County Commissioners approved the re-appointment of the members of the Muskingum County Floodplain Board Thursday afternoon.

The State Fire Marshall’s Office in Ohio is offering a reward for information on some possible arson fires in Perry County.

Investigators are seeking information from the public about a fire that occurred on Wednesday April 15th just before 7 a.m. at a vacant home on Sulphur Spring Road in Shawnee. The home does not have a known street address assigned to it because it has been vacant for some time.

Around noon on Wednesday, Coshocton County deputies responded to a call of a possible robbery on Park Avenue.

A woman told deputies she had been robbed at gun point and that prescription drugs and money had been taken. The woman had given the man a ride, and he pulled the weapon on her and stole the items as he exited the vehilce.

The incident remains under investigation, and anyone with information is urged to contact the Coshocton County Sheriff's Office.

Teams can still be formed for the Big Brothers Big Sisters annual Bowl for Kids Sake event.

Nearly 700 people are currently participating in the two month long fundraising effort. Executive Director, Mollie Crooks, said the organization's goal this year is $80,000, and that they are getting close to it.
