NEWNAN, Ga. (AP) — Officials in a west Georgia city say "Pokemon Go" players are no longer allowed in its cemeteries.

The Newnan Times-Herald (http://bit.ly/2aePqAR ) reports the Newnan City Council passed an ordinance Tuesday that prohibits people from playing internet or cellphone games at the city's three cemeteries.

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. (AP) — A paramedic is being hailed as a hero for coming to the aid of a woman on a respirator who was just minutes away from death after a construction crane collapsed across the Tappan (TAP'-uhn) Zee Bridge north of New York City.

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — An Orlando hospital doctor is still wearing the bloody shoes he wore as he treated victims after the Pulse nightclub shooting.

Shortly after the June 12 attack, Dr. Joshua Corsa wrote a moving Facebook status and posted a photo of his sneakers that were bloodied as 44 patients from the gay nightclub were brought into Orlando Regional Medical Center. He vowed to keep wearing the shoes until the last patient leaves the hospital.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) — Billionaire businessman Thomas Golisano has donated $2 million to a public broadcasting operation in his upstate New York hometown.

WXXI President and CEO Norm Silverstein announced Wednesday that Golisano's gift will help assure public broadcasting will serve the Rochester area "for many years to come."

NEWNAN, Ga. (AP) — Authorities in Georgia say a falling tree killed a man when it landed on his van.

Coweta County sheriff's Lt. Col. James Yarbrough says 47-year-old Larry Adornato of Newnan died after high winds toppled a large oak tree, which then fell on his van Tuesday.
