Ann Woodward, 70, passed away in her home on November 6, 2009 in South Charleston, Ohio with her husband and daughter at her side.
Ann was born April 2, 1939 in Roseville, Ohio to Roy Milton and Mildred A. (Cain) Pletcher.
Ann attended York High School in Deavertown, Ohio, and was employed as a nurse’s aide at Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville in the late 1950’s.
Ann is survived by her husband of 53 years, Kenneth Dale Woodward of the home, her daughter Deb (Tom) Wilson of London, Ohio and grandson Matthew Thomas Wilson of Columbus, brothers Roger (Evelyn) Pletcher of Deavertown, Russell (Judy) Pletcher of Deavertown, David (Phyliss) Pletcher of Deavertown, Bob (Ann) Pletcher of Zanesville, and brother Stephen’s wife Vera Pletcher of Rose Farm; Brothers-in-law Tom Woodward of McConnelsville, John (Shirley) Woodward of Malta, and sister-in-law Ruthie (Carl) Niceswanger of McConnelsville. Ann has many beloved nieces and nephews on both sides of her family, as well as special neighbor families who have supported her in her illness – the Fausts, Yearys, and McAdams’.
In addition to her parents Ann was preceded in death by her youngest brother Stephen Pletcher and a sister-in-law Pat Woodward.
Calling hours will be 6 - 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009 at THE CROOKSVILLE CHAPEL OF THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 207 BURLEY STREET CROOKSVILLE. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 9 at the funeral home with Pastor Russ White officiating. Burial will follow in the Lemon Hill Cemetery, McConnelsville, Ohio.
