Jeffrey F. Williams, 52, of Zanesville passed away on Friday November 13, 2009 at Good Samaritan Hospital Emergency Room after a sudden illness.
Jeff was born Dec. 28, 1956 in Zanesville to the late Francis and Mary Stone Williams. He loved his family and his grandchildren deeply. He enjoyed boating, motorcycling, and driving his semi-truck. Prior to his illness Jeff worked as a social worker, counselor, and was pursuing his pilot’s license. He loved what he did and he wanted to make a difference in the lives of the young men with whom he helped. He enjoyed family activities and living his life to the fullest. Jeff was a very special person and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Tammy Glosser Williams, his children; Stacy (Dave) Baugh, Heidi (Brad) Gearhart, Brad Williams, and Renee (Mike) Williams; stepsons, Dustin Glosser, Jason and Brian Jenkins. He left eleven grandchildren who loved him so much. He also leaves his two beloved dogs, Ben and Jake and many special friends including Sharon Williams and Dale Bonifant.
In addition to his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kerstan.
Calling hours will be 2 – 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009 at the Dresden Cemetery in Dresden, Oh. with Pastor Richard Gatten officiating.
