HILLIS & HARDWICK FUNERAL HOME OBIT:
Rosemary T. Geiger Mohler, 90 of Lawhead Lane, Zanesville entered in to her eternal rest 2:40 PM Sunday, May 23, 2010 at Genesis Morrison House Hospice in Zanesville.
She was born Wednesday, August 06, 1919 in Zanesville the daughter of Robert and Maria Mary (Hugger) Geiger.
She was a lifetime member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church and a graduate of St. Nicholas High School. Mrs. Mohler retired from Bloomer Candy Company where she was employed for over 27 years. Her parents immigrated to the United states from Germany and Rosemary was the youngest of 10 children from a very close and wonderful family.
Rosemary was a loving and caring mother and is survived by 2 daughters, Diane (Harry) Wilson and Pamela (William) Gilger both of Zanesville; a son Donald (Debra) Mohler of Zanesville, 6 grandchildren Angela Miller, Andrea Reagan, Lisa Gilger, Matthew Mohler, Adam Mohler, and Sara Mohler and 5 great grandchildren, Jaeylyn Mohler, Avery Mohler, Maddox Mohler, Jack Miller and Evan Miller; many loving nieces and nephews, a special niece Francis Rea, and her wonderful and loving caregiver Julia Norris. She was preceded in death in addition to her parents and husband Donald C. Mohler by a great grandson Samuel Everett Miller, 6 sisters: Bertha Paul, Emma Rine, Anna Sterzinar, Frieda Huff, Agnes Beisser and Lena Hatfield and 3 brothers; Carl Geiger, William Geiger and Emmet Geiger.
Friends may call Wednesday May 26th from 2-4 & 6-8pm with Christian Vigil recited at 7:45pm at the Hillis & Hardwick Funeral Home, 935 Forest Ave.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 AM on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church 925 East Main Street Zanesville OH with Fr. Martin Ralko as celebrant. Burial will conclude in the Zanesville Memorial Park, Zanesville OH .
Memorial contributions can be made to St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Rosemary’s name.
