Dixie Denise Lyons 46 of Crooksville went to be with the Lord on Tuesday August 17, 2010 at her residence. Dixie was born in Zanesville to Denzil and Mary Roasalie White Linscott on May 28, 1964. She was a 1982 graduate of Morgan High School and was a 1984 graduate of Muskingum Area Technical College and later worked for Goss Supply, Dr. LaCerda, Dr. Hawkins, Dr. Downing and The Ohio State University. She attended Ebenezer United Methodist Church. Dixie loved children and was a babysitter to many nieces and nephews. She enjoyed Myrtle Beach. Dixie loved life and fought a courageous battle with cancer, she will be missed by all who knew her and leaves behind a multitude of loving cousins, friends, and coworkers.
She is survived by her loving husband and best friend Bryan Lyons of Crooksville, a daughter Kayla (Chase) Bowman of Columbus, her father Denzil Linscott of McConnelsville, her mother Mary Rosalie White Linscott of Zanesville, two brothers: Denny (Jennifer Powell) Linscott of Lancaster, Danny (Tami) Linscott of Cambridge, two sisters Debbie (Joe Dan Windau) Linscott of Dublin and Darla Linscott of Zanesville and a special nephew Brandon Linscott.
Visitation will be held on Friday August 20, 2010 from 2 – 4 and 6-8 PM at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 207 BURLEY STREET CROOKSVILLE, OH
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM Saturday August 21, 2010 at THE CROOKSVILLE CHAPEL of THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in the Ebenezer Church Cemetery.
