Nevada Jean Fluhart 87 of Roseville passed away on Tuesday November 2, 2010 at Autumn Healthcare. She was born in Roseville on May 15, 1923 to the late Harry and Lena Allison Smith. She was an employee of the Nelson McCoy Pottery for 35 years, was a member of Teamsters Retirees #637, was a life member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church and was a friend to all who knew her.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews: Carol (David) Derwacter of Zanesville, Brenda Harris of Fredricktown, Gary (Lisa) Smith of Roseville, Melanie Austin of Utah, June Smith of Zanesville, Laura (David ) Harper of Zanesville, Christy Murgatroyd of Florida, Sue Ann Shipley of Georgia, Jane Ann Varney of Columbus, Mark Fluhart of Columbus and Julie Hovi of Toledo and a sister-in-law Georgia Smith of Roseville..
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Homer “Chub” Fluhart, brothers Sherman and Max Smith, Sisters Esther Mae Wood, Mary Margaret Wilson and Helen Smith, nephews Rick Wilson, Sandy Smith and Ernest Wood.
Visitation will be held Thursday November 4, 2010 from 6 – 8 PM at The ROSEVILLE CHAPEL OF THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 33 NORTH MAIN STREET ROSEVILLE and for one hour prior to the funeral from 10 – 11AM on Friday November 5, 2010 at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church 145 Main Street Roseville, Ohio
Funeral Services will be held on Friday November 5, 2010 at 11am at The St. Paul’s United Methodist Church with Pastor Jerry Sutton officiating. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to St. Paul’s United Methodist Church P.O. Box 55 Roseville, Ohio 43777.
