Fred Hugo Branditz, 85, of Zanesville passed away on Tuesday July 5, 2011 at his residence.
Fred was born on August 26, 1925 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania to the late Frederick and Ida Kleyboecker Branditz. Fred was the former Senior Vice-President of Equi Bank in Pittsburg and served our country in the US Army during WWII. He was a member of First Christian Church, Masonic Lodge, and was a volunteer for the American Red Cross.
He is survived by a son Dr. Fred K. (Andrea) Branditz M.D. of Zanesville, a daughter Karen (Charles) Shively of Ellicott City, Maryland, four grandchildren Fred C. Branditz, Lauren Branditz, Michael Shively, and Karl Shively.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Marion Ruth Branditz.
A Private Family Service will be held.
