Alouise Irene Ballis Kyle, 86, of Zanesville, passed away at 12:40 p.m. Monday, September 10, 2012 at the Helen Purcell Home. She was born August 14, 1926, in Corning, a daughter of the late Raymond and Emma Goudy Ballis. She was owner and operator of Maysville Family Restaurant, Yakety-Yak Miniature Golf Course and National Produce. She was a member of the East 40 Church of Christ, Eastern Star OES #485 and was a volunteer at Christ Table.
Surviving are two brothers, Alva Ballis of New Lexington and Jack (Lois) Ballis of Solon, OH; two sisters, Juanita (Jack) Arter and Barbara (Herb) Clark, both of Zanesville; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Kyle; and three brothers, Raymond, Emmett and Jim Ballis.
Friends and family may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 W MILITARY RD., ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 13, 2012 at the funeral home with Pastor Kenny Thomas officiating. Alouise will be laid to rest next to her husband, Harold, at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
