Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls
Jack Robert Fox 65, of Duncan Run Road, Philo, passed away suddenly at his residence on Saturday, October 27, 2012.
Jack was born June 26, 1947 in Zanesville the son of the late Robert E and Mary (McGrath) Fox. He was a life time area farmer and the owner and operator of J&J Veal Farm, a Philo High School Class of 1965 graduate; he previously worked at the Ohio Ferro Alloy and served his country in the US Army serving in Vietnam. Jack loved taking care of his cows and he loved his Buckeyes.
Jack is survived by his wife Cindy Fox whom he married July 7th, 2007, a brother Jon C. (Roni) Fox of Philo; two daughters Jacquelyn (Troy) Tom of Chandlersville and Renee (John) Kimble of Zanesville; three step sons Chad Ansel of Columbus, Cory (Stephanie) Ansel and Jody (Brooke) Ansel both of Zanesville; his grandchildren Reagan Tom, Corin Tom, Dylan Ansel, Ashton Ansel, Brooklyn Baker, Brady Ansel, Ryleigh Ansel and Jase Ansel and his best buddies Sherman, Jake and Jac-cin.
In addition to his parents, Jack is preceded in death by a son Dustin Fox and his brothers Jim C. Fox and Michael Fox and a grandson Tyler Andrew Ansel.
Visitations will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm, Monday October 29th 2012 at the Farus Funeral Home, Duncan Falls where funeral services will be 1 pm Tuesday with Pastor Steve Harrop officiating. Jack will be laid to rest in the Duncan Falls Cemetery.
