Carl E. Perone, 84, of Zanesville, died at 11:20 P.M. Friday, November 9, 2012 at Willow Haven Care Center. He was born October 19, 1928, in Zanesville, a son of the late Charles Roy and Minnie Allwood Perone. Carl was a self employed painting contractor and a member of the Wildwood Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Wanda Lemmon Perone, whom he married February 25, 1960, of the home; five sons, Gregory, Mark Perone Sr. of Zanesville, Rick (Lisa) Perone of Zanesville, Carl Doyle Jr. of Virginia and Bob Perone of Coshocton; a daughter, Kimberly (Rich) Colvin of Dublin; fourteen grandchildren including as special grandson, Derek; thirteen great grandchildren and a special niece, Sandy Findeiss of Zanesville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a two brothers, Charles A. Perone and Jim Perone.
Friends and family may call from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville, where services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday November 14, 2012 at the funeral home with his son, Rick Perone giving the eulogy. A dignified cremation will take place following the service and he will be laid to rest at St. Pauls Cemetery in Sonora at a later date.
