Margaret M. Lemity, 92, of Rose Farm, passed away Monday, December 31, 2012 at New Lexington Care and Rehab. She was born February 4, 1920, in Perry County, a daughter of the late William A. and Nellie Moore Jones.
Margaret is survived by two daughters, Helen (Jack) Spears of Zanesville and Betty Hiles of Rose Farm; 6 grandchildren, Jennifer (Jason) Longfellow, Matt (Suzette) Spears, Dale (Lesia) Hiles, Cindy Rice, Becky (Larry Jardine) Hiles and Kasey (Chad) Penrod; 9 great grandchildren, Justin Longfellow, Jack and Wyatt Spears, Devon and Tyler Hiles, Jonathan (Nessie) Rice, Katie Rice, Joey and Abby Penrod; and a great-great grandson, Mason Rice.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Lemity Jr., who passed away in 1985; a great grandson, Christopher Rice; a son-in-law, Earl Hiles Jr.; four sisters, Gladys, Doris, Alice and Lena; and seven brothers, Robert, Rolland, George, Harry, William “Buster”, Everett and Melvin.
Calling hours will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday January 2, 2013 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 207 BURLEY ST., CROOKSVILLE where services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 3, 2013 with Pastor Larry Taylor officiating. Margaret will be laid to rest beside her husband George in Crooksville Cemetery.
