Opal Anderson, 90, of McConnelsville, passed away at 7:13 am on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Autumn Health Care Center. Opal was born December 17, 1922 in Congo, Ohio and is the daughter of the late Lincoln and Elsie (Hampton) Estep.
Opal was a member of the VFW of Malta. She was a home maker, She loved to work in the Garden and spending time with her family and friends, and enjoyed cooking for all of them.
She is survived by her three sons Gerald (Ginnive) Draper of Gulf Port, Mississippi, Archie (Debbie) Rose of Zanesville, and Alfred (Renee) Rose of Coshocton. Three daughters are Helen (Larry) Knight of Zanesville, Marie Hayes of Zanesville, and Trudie (Kevin) McCoy of North Jackson, Ohio. One sister Shirley Ross of Tenn.. Twenty two Grandchildren and multiple Great Grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her three husbands Charles Draper, Zeke Edward Rose, and Clifford Anderson. Two brothers Lincoln Estep and Franklin Estep, one sister Thelma Deavers, one son William Rose, two daughters Carol Hurst and Patricia Rose, and one grandson.
Friends may call 4 to 6 on Friday (March 8, 2013) and Saturday 10 to 12 at the Farus Funeral Home in Duncan Falls where the funeral will be at 12 on Saturday with burial in Duncan Falls Cemetery with the Pastor James Rose officiating.
