Dana Moore, 67, of Zanesville passed away at 7:27 pm Thursday, April 18, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his family.
Dana was born July 8, 1945 in Philo the son of the late Ed and Lois (Sorenson) Moore. Dana retired from Rockwell International as a machinist. After retirement he worked for SRS Services and he was an avid golfer and enjoyed going to nascar races; Dana was a member of the Wildwood Church of Christ.
Dana is survived by his wife Delores (Allen) Moore whom he married May 15, 1965; his son Justin Moore of Zanesville; his daughters Christy (Tom) Bateson of Utica and Tammy (Jody) Terrill of Zanesville; his four grandchildren Tachele Terrill, Breana (Brandon) Wells, Dana Kimble, and Zack Kimble; his 6 great grandchildren; his brother Gene (Evelyn) Moore of Albama and his K-9 companion Chloe.
In addition to his parents, Dana is preceded in death by his brother Ed Moore.
Visitations will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 Sunday, April 21, 2013, at the Farus Funeral Home, Duncan Falls where funeral services will be 11 am Monday with Tony Maple officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Duncan Falls Cemetery.
