OBIT FOR: NORMA K. “SCOOP” BRITTON , 88 years, 9 months, and 4 days
Norma K. “Scoop” Britton, 88, of Zanesville, died at 3:00am Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Autumn Health Care.
She was born on October 19, 1924 in Zanesville, Ohio. She was the daughter of Raymond Joseph and Lula May (See) Kearns.
Norma was a 1944 Graduate of Lash High School.
She is survived by her son, Michael L. (Pamela) Britton of Zanesville, grandsons, Brian (Lisa) Britton, Hudson, Ohio & Brice (Amanda) Britton, Zanesville, and great-grandchildren, Natalie, Jack, and Josie Britton. Surviving also is her sister, Darlene Kearns Hood of Riverside, California. Norma was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband, Raymond Loy Britton, sisters, Gladys Louise Kearns Earp, Donna Kearns Sushka, Tribia Watassa Kearns Stanton, and a half-brother, Theodore Eugene Abbott.
There will be no public visitation or services observed, and the family will have a private graveside service at a later date at Greenwood Cemetery, Zanesville.
