Ina Mae Porter, 88, of Zanesville passed away October 18, 2013 at Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care Morrison House. She was born June 5, 1925 in Deavertown, OH, a daughter of the late Vivian James and Nellie Mae Best Wise. Through her working career as a bookkeeper, she held positions in Zanesville, Akron, and Springfield. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, crossstitching, and crossword puzzles. Frank and Ina attended Northside Church of the Nazarene, Mt. Sterling United Methodist Church, and Christian National Church.
Ina is survived by her husband Frank; two brothers Robert L. Wise of Minnesota, and Wayne A. Wise of Zanesville; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded by one brother Clarence M. Wise.
Calling hours will be held from 1-4pm on Sunday at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Monday, October 21, 2013 in the Snouffer Chapel with Pastor Jim Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Duncan Falls Cemetery.
