William “Bill” Richard Marshall Jr, 66, of New Concord, passed away in the loving presence of his family on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 in his residence.
Bill was born December 14, 1947 in Zanesville, the son of Freda (Gillogly) Marshall of New Concord and the Late William Marshall Sr. He worked for Owens Brockway, he was a member of the NRA, and was an avid fisherman, as well as being a knife and gun collector. He proudly served his country in the US Army.
Bill is survived by his wife and ‘best girlfriend’ Glenna (Moyer) Marshall whom he married February 24, 1973; his children James Hauenstein, of London KY, Todd (Cindy) Hauenstein of Navarre, and Traci (Steven) Gray, of New Concord; his grandchildren, Dustin, Justin, Kierstin, Stephan, Jessica, Kirstie, Katelyn, Madison, Jarrod and Karalin; his great grandchildren, Maddalyn, Macey, Mylee, Trent, Owen, Kloe, and Benjamin; his sisters Joyce (David) Calendine, of McConnelsville, Debbie Marshall, of Columbus and his brother, Mike (Angela) Marshall, of New Concord and his lifelong friends Terry Wilson, Allen Hahn, and Tom Oliver, and his canine companions, Peach and Pepper.

A Celebration of Life and Gathering of friends will be held at 3 pm Sunday, January 5th 2014 at the New Concord United Methodist Church, 20 East High Street, New Concord with Rev. Karen B. Graham. The Farus Funeral Home of New Concord is entrusted with arrangements.
