Floyd Marvin Sowers, 80 of Sierra Vista, Arizona (Formerly of Roseville) passed away on Wednesday March 12, 2014.
Marvin was born in Roseville on October 15, 1933 to the late Paul and Virginia Trout Sowers. He was a former Meat Cutter for various Grocery Stores. He was a former member of Roseville Lodge #566 F&AM, 32nd Degree Mason Valley of Columbus, and played the Drums for various Square Dance Bands.
He is survived by his wife Paula Sowers of the home, two sons; James “Mike” (Carol) Sowers and John Sowers both of Roseville, a daughter Virginia “Ginger” (Jim) Hunt of the home, a step-sister Marilyn (Tom) Williams of Roseville, Four Grandchildren: Joe Hunt, Michael (Natosha) Sowers, Jennifer Sowers, and Christopher Sowers. Two Great-Grandchildren: Bradley and Mandi Sowers.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step mother Evelyn Sowers, his first wife Fairy Sowers who was the mother of his children, and a daughter-in-law Patricia Sowers.
