Columbus lost to Washington 4-3 in overtime after the Capitals' Peter Bondra scored with 3 seconds left. It was Bondra's 2nd goal of the game. The Blue Jackets' Tyler Wright notched his 100th NHL point after scoring a goal in the 2nd period. Columbus right wing Kevin Dineen retired prior to the game. The 39-year-old was entering his 19th NHL season and was happy to leave the game on his own terms.
