WHIZ has learned former Meadowbrook head football coach Steve Warden resigned this past Sunday from his post as Shenandoah football assistant due to personal reasons. He hasn't had contact with the team since last Wednesday, and Monday, he was charged with 1 count of sexual battery (3rd degree felony). Guernsey County prosecutor's office tells WHIZ charges were brought when alleged victim's father discovered e-mails between alleged victim and Warden. The father then called the Sheriff's Department. Preliminary hearings for Warden begin September 5th at the Cambridge Municipal Court.
