Cleveland (5-11) 22
Cincinnati (8-8) 14

-The Bengals needed a win and a Baltimore loss to make the playoffs. Neither happened. Cleveland breaks a 5-game losing streak, thanks in large part to rookie 4th-rd draft pick Lee Suggs. The Virginia Tech product rushed for 186 yards and 2 touchdowns. Rudi Johnson scored twice for Cinci. One important point in the game may bave come right before the half when, deep in Browns territory, Bengals QB Jon Kitna decided to take the sack rather than throw the ball away and possibly at least get some points on the board. Either way, Cincinnati's season is over.

Baltimore 13 (10-6) F/OT
Pittsburgh (6-10) 10

-Jamal Lewis needed 48 rushing yards for 2000, 164 to break Eric Dickerson's single-season rushing mark of 2,105 set in 1984. The Ravens running back broke the 2000-yard mark with a 9-yard romp in the first quarter, but fell 39 yards short of Dickerson's record. Pittsburgh scored on a fake punt pass play that was good for 81 yards. Steelers RB Jerome Bettis passed former Browns great Jim Brown into 6th on the all-time rushing list. Matt Stover won the game in OT with a 47-yard field goal.
