Vandalia Butler's 7-footer had an enormous against the Blue Devils.

Seth Gorney, an Iowa Hawkeye signee, scored 26 points and grabbed 19 rebounds as Vandalia Butler beat Zanesville 65-56 in the Buckeye Bracket consolation game at the Flyin' to the Hoop Tournament.

ZHS guards Drake Aronhalt and Korey Haddox combined to score 37 of the Devils' 56 points. Aronhalt totaled 19 while Haddox scored 18 as ZHS (4-9) shot 33 percent for the game.

Blue Devils forward Kyle Crump injured an ankle in the first half against the Aviators. It appeared to be a serious injury but the senior returned in the second half. Also, returning for Zanesville was sophomore Jordan Aronhalt. The guard missed eight games following hernia surgery.

Zanesville, which lost its fourth in a row, returns to action Friday night at Parkersburg South. The Devils have lost all of their games on a seven-game, month-long road trip.
