The Tigers were just too much for the host Lady Bishops in Rogge Gymansium tonight. A straight set loss punctuated by the play of Marietta's Alexis Walsh and Kristen Hill, who combined for 13 kills.

Maysville     25  25  25

Crooksville  17  12  11

Maysville straight set winners in the Kiln to improve to 4-1 in the MVL. Pacing the Panthers were Captains Karen Sidwell and Taylor Tatman, combining for four aces, 18 points, 19 kills, and 10 digs. Crooksville falls to 1-5 in the league, despite the fine play from Madison Sprankel, who accounted for five kills and nine digs.

River View 25 25 25

Claymont   16 23 18

The Black bears pick up thier third ECOL win of the year with the straight set victory over the Mustangs. Andi Daugherty leading the way for River View with 15 kills, Caley Conkling right behind her with 13 kills of her own. Handing out all of those assists? That would be Jessie Gibson who piled up 31 assists in the contest.

New Lexington 20 17 14

The Lady Dawgs stay perfect in MVL, grabbing their sixth win in straight sets over New Lexington. Tri-Valley getting a great effort tonight from Peyton Miller, who finished with 12 kills. The Panthers' Sydney Wycinski tallied seven kills on the evening.

The Muskies improve to 4-1 in the league with yet another straight set victory tonight. Erin Shade was the top Muskie performer with a little bit of everything: nine kills, a block, seven digs and two aces. Muskies next face Sheridan at home on Thursday September 15th at 5:30.

Rosecrans 1 Zanesville 2

At Sulsberger, the Blue Devils jumped out to a 2-0 halftime lead thanks to goals off the feet of Payton Norris and Doug Welker. In the 75th minute, Rosecrans able to sneak one by goalie Cody Dent (seven saves). The Bishops' Logan McLoughlin was the man to do it, but that was all the Bishops could muster, as they fall for the first time this season. Zanesville improves to 4-2

Morgan 0 West Muskingum 12

West M picks up league win number three with a drubbing of the Raiders. Leading the way for the Tornadoes was Will Debolt with three goals, Ammon Laulusa and Clay Tincher adding two goals each.
