Moyer Steps Down at Rosecrans

Wednesday, January 23, 2013 - 06:50 PM

After three successful years at Rosecrans, Bishop football coach Scott Moyer is stepping down.

Moyer was at the helm of the Bishops for three seasons taking the red and black to two playoff appearances and two regional semi-final games.

During his tenure the Bishops went 18-16 including in the playoffs where the former Bishop quarterback was 2-2. Moyer is leaving the program in good hands as Mike Legets will step in as the head coach.

Legets has been a long time assistant with the Bishops including the defensive coordinator for the last few years with Moyer at the helm. The Bishops were 8-4 in Moyer's last season on the sidelines.
