One thing Ohio State has done consistently well this season is run the football. Carlos Hyde and Braxton Miller lead an offense that's been unstoppable at times. But if there's a team that can stop them, it would be Michigan State. The Spartans are equally tough at stopping the run, leading the nation in rushing defense. Needless to say, something's gotta give this weekend in the Big Ten Championship Game.
One thing is for sure, the Buckeyes will be ready for whatever Sparty throws at them. Head Coach Urban Meyer said they took time to celebrate their win against Michigan, but then it was right back to work on Michigan State, who hasn't been tested since week four in a close loss to Notre Dame.
Since then, the Spartans have rolled have eight straight wins and given up just 68 yards per game on the ground. Their offense has taken shape too, averaging nearly 30 points a game in Big Ten play. Regardless of being the favorite, the Buckeyes know they will have to play their best game this Saturday.
